A little fun at the fire station, climbing all around in Dad's big red truck. How FUN!! Thanks for letting us visit Station 4. Now how do those lights turn on?
Mad again. I know its now the pirate shirt you wanted. I do have to wash it, you can't put it back on after a day of play. The pirate will be clean and ready for you in the morning.
January 21, 2009. A Day to remember. President Obama inaugurated, the first African American President elected into office. One day you will be reading about this in your history books, not just your newspaper. I love that something so wonderfully historical has happened here in your life time, something positive to be written in the history books.
Tonight we went over to the Campbell's house to celebrate Uncle Dennis's Birthday with a birthday song and ice cream cake. McClain loved the Sponge Bob decorations on the cake so much, we brought them home. Thanks for having a birthday Uncle Dennis... Who lives in a pineapple under the sea? Sponge Bob Square Pants....
McClain has recently started watching Mickey Mouse Club House, this is a hat that his Oma brought back from Disney Land for him. Every once in a while he spots it in his room and will wear it around. Here he is proudly supporting his M-I-C-K-E-Y M-O-U-S-E. Even though his favorite is DONALD DUCK...
And another Christmas gift, a fish tank from the Campbell family. A little bit of work but I guess well worth it because McClain love the fish, and feeding the fish. He doesn't even get upset when they die. He just says and waves "bye, bye" as they swirl down to fishie heaven. I on the other had, really, really, really hate it when that happens. GROSS!!
Today I was locked out of my house by McClain. With no keys and no phone. This is what it looks like to be locked outside with no way to get back in, and have my 2 year old looking out at me though the back patio slider and thinking its very funny that mom is knocking on the door and begging him to unlock it. And then running all around the house trying to find a way in. Then running around to the neighbor hood friends for a phone to call and get a key. Ha, Ha, jokes on me this time. Guess that's what I get for not unlocking the shed for him yesterday.
I'm a proud Mamma of two beautiful little boys, McClain and Ashton. McClain is a big bad Kindergardner this year, and durning school hours I can be called Mrs. Mom (yep, I am the teacher). And Ashton is a running, jumping, kinda talking 2 year old, who we affectionatly call trouble. Clint and I have been married now for almost 10 years. Our life is crazy and wonderul, and here is our story...
